Fund cases are currently pending disbursement across the Union Territory. In a written reply to an un-starred Assembly question tabled by MLA Javid Hassan Baig, the Finance Department stated that as of October 10, 2025, a total of 24,579 GP Fund cases remain pending for disbursement in J&K. According to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), the department further clarified that payments are being made as per the availability of resources.
